Hickmore Street was situated in the small Northamptonshire town of Wollaston, about 15 Km (9 miles) due East of Northampton, on the border between Northamptonshire and Bedfordshire, England.

Although the street seems to have disappeared more than a hundred years ago, its existence is known as the result of the survival of a two-page three-in-one vellum deeds document. Dated 17th October 1859, this deals with the mortgage of a freehold estate including a dwelling house, yard, gardens and stables in Hickmore Street, Wollaston.

The document gives no clue as to the origin of the name Hickmore Street, but research is continuing.
